Rollo G. Silver (1909–1989) was an American book collector and historian of American printing, typography, and publishing as created by White people in the European printing tradition. With his wife, Alice, he created a major collection of books and manuscripts relating to Walt Whitman. This collection contains his correspondence, research on publishers and typographers, specimens of type and a miniature toy printing press.

Abstract:
Augustus William Smith was a school teacher, university professor (astronomy and mathematics), president of Wesleyan University and professor of Natural Philosophy at the United States Naval Academy. Smith's papers contain extensive correspondence with contemporary astronomers, mathematicians and meteorologists, along with several manuscripts. There is also correspondence between Smith and others concerning affairs of the Methodist-Episcopal Church.

The documents in this collection where created by or relate to neo-fascist organizations in Spain just prior to and after the death of Generalissimo Francisco Franco. The organizations include: Accion Social Corporativa Española (ASCE), Alianza Nacional, Frente Nacional, Fuerza Nueva, Fuerza Nacional del Trabajo, Falangistas Espanolas de las JONS, Union Nacional and many others. It is comprised of approximately 175+ photographs, most color, 55 in large format (17.5 x 23.5 cm), the rest approximately 10 x 15 cm, some with captions on the verso identifying places and dates; 150+ documents includes serials, pamphlets, small flyers, broadsides, posters, correspondence, and 20 pieces of foreigh ephemera (France, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, United States of America).
