Abstract:
Adam Phillippe, comte de Custine (1740-1793) was the colonel of the Saintonge regiment, part of the French expeditionary force led by Comte de Rochambeau (1725-1807), during the American Revolutionary War. In this document, written in French, Custine lists the various soldiers in his regiment and explains why they are deserving of payment, a pension, or promotion.

Abstract:
The Department of Transportation State Photolog Highway films contain sequential images of the highway and its environs taken at equal increments of distance from a moving vehicle at driver’s eye level. The film documents such information as number of lanes, surface type, pavement markings, signs and hazards. It provides a permanent record or history of any one state highway at a given time. Additional information is included in the frame of the image, such as date, route description, direction and milepoint. All state roads were filmed in both directions.

Photographs of Drexel homes in Paris, France and Newport, Rhode Island. Notable French firm Studio Waléry photographed the interiors of the Alice Troth Drexel and John Drexel Sr. apartment at 34 rue François-Ier, Paris, France, to which Mrs. Drexel added room descriptions. Collection also includes photographs taken by Richard Nelson depicting Rock Cliff in Newport, mostly in panoramic format.

Reverend James A. Driscoll, O.P. (1924-2013) was a professor of Religious Studies, Theology, and Art History at Providence College from 1967-2007. This collection is comprised of his personal materials which reflect his interest in art, architectural history, stamp collecting, and photography, among many other interests. The collection includes a significant amount of photographic materials such as prints, negatives, and 35mm slides, many of which were contributions to Providence College Magazine. It also includes personal materials such as correspondence, family photographs, and prayer cards.
