Abstract:
The L.G. Bloomingdale Files include personal documents, records from the building and planning of the Sciences Library and renovation of the John D. Jockefeller, Jr. Library, documents from various commencements, Brown Club meetings, and the Brown Annual Fund. They are dated from 1957-1978, with the bulk of the collection dated from 1960 to 1970.

Abstract:
This collection consists of 34 play scripts, some with manuscript annotations, compiled by Barbara Blossom who was an actress associated with Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, RI. The majority of the plays are by playwrights James Schevill and Alan David Perkins. The plays were not necessarily performed at Trinity Repertory Company. There is a printout of a PowerPoint presentation on Sissieretta Jones (Black Patti) and a framed needlepoint titled: All the World's a Stage.

Boghosian is a New York City-based privacy advocate, attorney, author, and radio host specializing in civil liberties, surveillance, government overreach, and state repression. As an attorney, Boghosian has represented/advised a number of notable clients who identify as political prisoners including Mumia Abu-Jamal and Ross Ulbricht, creator of Silk Road. The collection includes biographical and professional materials, course work, book drafts, amicus briefs, photographs, handwritten notes, and correspondence throughout. The collection spans from 1955 to 2024.

Abstract:
John V. Brennan (1937-2023) was a United States Marine Corps officer who rose to the rank of Colonel and a political aide to President Richard Nixon. He also served as Nixon’s post-presidency Chief of Staff. Brennan graduated from Providence College in 1959 and served with the Marines in the Vietnam War, where he earned the Bronze Star and Purple Heart medals. In 1969 he was appointed Marine Aide to President Nixon. In this role, he accompanied Nixon on his landmark trip to China in 1972. Later, while chief of staff for Nixon, Brennan negotiated the famous 1977 series of televised interviews between Nixon and journalist David Frost. The John V. Brennan collection consists of documents, photographs, and memorabilia from throughout Col. Brennan’s career. Significantly, the collection also includes Brennan’s oral histories of major figures and foreign affairs initiatives during his service as the Marine Military Aide to President Nixon and Chief of Staff during President Nixon’s post-presidency years.
