                <p>The collection contains a color illustration advertising the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company. Captions on the item read: “Feeling that you have labored long and powerfully in the good cause, we beg leave to present you with some of The Great Atlantic &amp; Pacific Tea Co’s celebrated teas and coffees which will strengthen you in your labors,” “You have touched the right spot this time suah and to show my gratitude I will keep right on living and recommend these teas and coffees to every one. Yours &amp; c. Dominie”, and “The Donation Visit.”</p>
                <p>The illustration depicts three individuals drawn as racist caricatures, one holding a bottle with the label “Thea-Nectar, Pure Chinese Tea,” and another is holding a sack with the label “The celebrated Sultana Coffee from the Great Atlantic &amp; Pacific Tea Company.”</p>
