In September 1818, Commonwealth of Massachusetts Judge Hodijah Baylies trusted the care and custody of John and Oliver Brown to Benjamin Armington of Seekonk. John Brown was older than fourteen and Oliver Brown was under fourteen. Their father, John Brown of Seekonk was said to be deceased.
The collection consists of an 1818 guardianship certificate for minors John Brown and Oliver Brown who were placed under the care of Benjamin Armington by Judge Hodijah Baylies.
