        <bioghist><head>Biographical/Historical Note</head>
            <p>In September 1818, Commonwealth of Massachusetts Judge Hodijah Baylies trusted the care and custody of John and Oliver Brown to Benjamin Armington of Seekonk. John Brown was older than fourteen and Oliver Brown was under fourteen.
