                <p>The collection includes an unbound 1908 edition of <emph render="italic"> Midsummer Night’s Dream</emph> by William Shakespeare published by William Heinemann in London and Doubleday, Page &amp; Co. in New York, with illustrations by Arthur Rackham, R.W.S. The book was unbound in April 1980.</p>

            <processinfo><p>The collection was described by Special Collections intern, Melissa Moniz, in 2023 under the supervision of Digital Archivist and Special Collections Librarian, Veronica L. Denison.</p></processinfo>
            <custodhist><p>The original bound book was cataloged and in the main library holdings of the Rhode Island Normal School. It was likely transferred to Rhode Island College Special Collections prior to 1980, based on stamps in the book.</p></custodhist>
