This collection contains maps detailing the Rhode Island General Highway System during the 1960s. The maps are separated by county with most counties containing multiple maps and further organized by town or city. The third map of Providence County, detailing the towns of Smithfield and North Smithfield, is missing from the collection. Also missing from the collection is the third map of Newport County, which details the town of Jamestown.
Researchers are advised to contact Rhode Island College Special Collections for questions regarding permissions to reproduce, distribute, or otherwise publish material from this collection. Although Rhode Island College has physical ownership of the collection, it does not necessarily hold literary rights.
