The collection includes seventeen photographic slides of Rhode Island architecture taken or collected by Debra Thomson. Buildings include the State House, Capitol dome, Bristol Country Court, Kent County Courthouse, Colony House in Newport, and South Kingston Courthouse.

Although Rhode Island College has physical ownership of the collection, it does not necessarily hold literary rights. The collection was given to Special Collections prior to 2019 by Debra Thomson. A deed of gift was signed by Thomson in 2022.
The collection was described by Special Collections intern, Melissa Moniz, in 2023 under the supervision of Digital Archivist and Special Collections Librarian, Veronica L. Denison.
