The Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts Dedication Committee was created to plan a dedication ceremony and a year of events to maintain interest in the new performing arts center dedicated to John Nazarian. Many faculty members were involved in the program planning efforts to highlight as many of RIC’s creative arts programs as possible.
This collection presents a timeline of extensive event planning for the opening and dedication of the Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts. Most of the collection includes meeting minutes that document progress in program planning. It also contains correspondence among committee members, contact lists for guests, the final program for the dedication event, and a schedule for the first academic year's performing arts programming after the opening.

Although Rhode Island College has physical ownership of the collection, it does not necessarily hold literary rights.
