Rhode Island College of Education held annual song contests between the different classes to award the yearly College Alma Mater and Cheer Song.
The collection contains the sheet music for the Cheer Song from 1924.

The collection consists of one item.
The 1924 Cheer Song sheet music was found glued inside a copy of the book “American Student Hymnal” (published 1928), which was in the James P. Adams Library book collections. The sheet music was removed from the book and transferred to Special Collections in May 1986.
The collection was described by Veronica L. Denison, Digital Archivist and Special Collections Librarian, in 2025.
