The collection contains a notebook that records enrollment numbers for the Rhode Island College of Education and Henry Barnard School, sometimes categorized by sex. The notebook also includes lists of students who withdrew from the College, along with reasons for their withdrawal.

Although Rhode Island College has physical ownership of the collection, it does not necessarily hold literary rights. It is up to the researcher to determine the owners of the literary rights and to obtain any necessary permissions from them.
Due to the presence of student information, this collection is restricted for 100 years from the date of the last entry. It will not be fully accessible for research without redactions until January 2055. However, reproductions can be provided with two weeks' notice, and student names will be redacted.
