The Task Force on the Status of Women at Rhode Island College (RIC) was formed in 1978 by the Rhode Island College president. The group was to recommend the extent and kinds of services that should be provided by RIC to women.
The collection contains an inter-office memo from the Task Force on the Status of Women at Rhode Island College to the college community announcing the Task Force’s creation. In the document, the Task Force is requesting college departments and community groups to provide recommendations and areas of improvements regarding services provided to women at the college.
