The Rhode Island College Compensation Committee was tasked with the planning and recommendation of budgets for faculty and professor salaries, programs, and departments.
The collection consists of annual reports, budget recommendations, correspondence, and faculty salary recommendations. The annual reports provide details about meeting times and dates, members present, and the recommendations for salaries and budgeting that year. The collection also includes budget recommendations for programs, such as summer school sessions, student teaching programs, and honors programs. For each academic year, salary recommendations for faculty are based on the title of the individual. There is also correspondence among the committee members in which they discuss meeting dates and times, member elections, as well as goals of their meetings. The collection also includes invoices from people outside of the committee requesting funding.
