The Undergraduate Academic Advising Committee, commonly referred to as the Committee on Academic Advising (COAA) was established to address advising-related matters at Rhode Island College. The committee reviews the College’s policies and practices on academic advising, as well as the policies and practices of each department at the College.
The collection contains annual reports and a survey regarding advising. The annual reports, which span from 2012-2016 and 2022-2024, contain attendees' names, meeting times, key discussion points, and goals. The reports from 2022-2024 are only available electronically.

The materials dating through 2016 were in the holdings of Special Collections prior to 2022. The materials dated between 2021 and 2024 were transferred to Special Collections in 2024 by Rhode Island College Council.
